Yan will be back in Portland to teach a Chen Taiji workshop on September 12-13, 2015.
This workshop is composed of 2 sessions and is suitable for Chen Tai Chi students of all levels. Beginners will ease into a set of exercises and drills that introduce them to the essential elements of Chen Style Taijiquan. Intermediate students will focus on improving 身法 (“rules of the body”) and 步法 (“rules of the steps”), and cultivating the 8 energies through various routines.
2pm – 5pm: Silk Reeling Exercises and 8 Energy Drills – $45
9am – 12pm: Laojia Yilu (Old Frame First Routine) Beginning Section – $45
